Small seeds usually fizzle
An 8×8 start is tiny by Life standards, and most small patterns burn out or freeze quickly. So the Credits that keep going, or throw spaceships off forever, are the real finds.

Life doesn't change a Credit's rarity rank; it's collector lore. Any inked cell counts as alive, and the run starts from the 8×8 art on an unbounded grid. The Game of Life was invented by the mathematician John Conway in 1970.
